Born from the entrepreneurial vision of an engineer, the company began in a modest basement at 511 Temagami — a number that would become both its first company address and its long-term identity. With a focus on importing durable, cost-effective products from Asia long before it was common practice, 511 FoodService built its business on technical insight, operational grit, and a commitment to long-term customer relationships. 

Today, 511 FoodService is a recognized leader in foodservice disposables and operational essentials across Canada. With over 1,000 SKUs — from gloves and barrier wear to packaging, cutlery, and cleaning tools — the company serves a wide range of national accounts and distributors. Headquartered in Milton, Ontario, with a sourcing office in Shenzhen, China, 511 FoodService combines global manufacturing access with the flexibility and personal service of a focused regional team. McNairn Packaging, US

McNairn Packaging, an ACR brand, is a leading food packaging manufacturer founded in Canada in 1882. The company opened its Westfield, Massachusetts, location in 1991 as a strategic expansion in response to growing demand in the U.S. market. McNairn Packaging US is a key part of the company's North American presence and serves a wide range of clients, from national chains to household names, with top-quality packaging solutions.


With a focus on essential food packaging products and specialty services, the McNairn Packaging US location offers extensive capabilities, including converting paper into foodservice supplies such as sheets, interfolded deli papers, and small rolls for food wrappings. They also specialize in applications of printed logos and wax coatings to paper as well as pinch-bottom bags for items like silverware, bread, and sandwiches.


With a workforce of 175 employees from Western Massachusetts, McNairn Packaging US maintains a stellar reputation for its dedication to quality, innovation, and exceptional service. The company takes particular pride in its diverse and inclusive workforce, which is reflected in the strong teamwork and outstanding performance across the organization. Highlights of their success include a 98% on-time delivery rate and excellent ratings in certifications such as Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and forestry certifications (FSC, PEFC, SFI).


Backed by a rich and time-honored history, McNairn Packaging US continues to honor its roots in many ways, including maintaining operations on legacy equipment such as their 100-year-old sheeter machine. This is also demonstrated in an enduring connection to the local community, where the unique workplace atmosphere of this long-standing location includes sightings of area wildlife and the sounds of nearby Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport.

Team Three Group (T3) and GIS

Team Three Group (T3)/GIS was founded in 2009 with the purpose of providing better, more comprehensive service offerings than what had been available in the market. The founders identified a niche — utilizing strong factory relationships with customers who needed the ability to effectively import, and who had the scale and volume to support an independent, customized import solution.


The company grew very rapidly from there, and by 2024, T3/GIS was shipping nearly 5,000 ocean containers in a year. The company employed over 50 team members across two offices in Chesterfield (MO) and Hong Kong, two warehouses in St. Louis (MO) and Vacaville (CA), and even a small manufacturing facility. When acquired by ACR in 2023, it was ACR’s largest acquisition to date and helped solidify their position as a market leader.


The focus of Team Three Group and GIS is on developing tailored product-and-service platforms for specific customers, and their true specialization lies in a customer-centric approach. T3 is highly program-focused, building strong relationships with large-scale customers while providing access to international suppliers and sourcing resources. Traditionally, sales were driven by direct container deliveries, but over time, the business has evolved to include a substantial portion of orders flowing through our warehouses.


They are most proud of the opportunities that T3 and GIS created for their team members to grow and thrive, both professionally and personally. Time and again, they saw individuals within the company develop smart, creative solutions to complex challenges, often even surprising themselves with what they were capable of achieving.


Beyond internal growth, T3/GIS is especially proud of the strong relationships they’ve built and the trust they’ve earned from their customers. Recognized as the best for delivering “Creative Solutions,” they consistently provided meaningful answers to supplier challenges, even when the best solution didn’t directly benefit T3/GIS. For the company, success has always been about doing what’s right, fostering innovation, and helping our customers overcome obstacles with confidence.


The company’s Chesterfield office is nestled next to two runways at a small private airport. Although most of the air traffic here is small planes, they also regularly see fighter jets and other military aircraft come through, including an occasional visit by the Blue Angels. It was common for the team to get some fresh air by watching the planes take off and land outside the office!

Thermosource Tooling and Manufacturing (TTM) was founded in 2004 to meet the growing need for custom-designed thermoformed packaging for West Coast food processing companies. Recognizing a gap in the market, the company launched with a focus on delivering innovative packaging solutions. 


Specializing in custom thermoformed packaging, TTM has proudly served both food processors and food service customers for two decades. Their collaborative approach fosters long-lasting partnerships with clients, while a global network of partner factories ensures consistent delivery of high-quality and valuable solutions. 


Located in Manhattan Beach, CA – just south of LAX and renowned as the home of beach volleyball – TTM reflects the vibrant, innovative spirit of its coastal community. The small yet dedicated team of 12 has been the driving force behind TTM’s steady growth in revenue and profitability. With several team members celebrating over a decade of service, their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in the brand’s success. 


Over the years, consistent performance and a strong team culture made TTM a sought-after acquisition target for larger organizations, culminating in its acquisition by ACR and the start of an exciting new chapter. 


Manhattan Beach is also home to the iconic Manhattan Beach Open, the premier beach volleyball tournament in the world. Winners of this prestigious event are honored with a plaque on the Manhattan Beach Pier – a fitting tribute in a town that values excellence and dedication, just like TTM.
